This is one of the cleanest off road legends, the 1979 Toyota Land
Cruiser FJ40 4-wheel drive. This one has only a few hundred miles
since it's complete frame off restoration in every part of the
chassis as well as a complete engine restoration. No detail left
undone. It has power steering, power brakes, new sound system and
A/C. The Land Cruiser is legendary for being reliable and extremely
agile due to their short wheel base. These trucks are growing
tremendously in market value and Land Cruisers in this condition is
hard to find, since so many of these trucks have been abused before
collectors decided to put these truck in their collections.
Fortunately, this one is extremely clean with a brand new beautiful
tan paint job. The body is straight and clean and it has many new
body panels. It has a new hardtop, new hood, aluminum new tub and
new doors. It has the original fenders but they are in excellent
shape. The seats are new as well as the console. You'll find the
interior is nicer than you'd expect, with comfortable high-back
bucket seats. A folding bench seat in back expands passenger
capacity. The spare tires sit on a gate that can be unlocked to
allow entry from the rear of the truck. Toyota's 4.2-liter
inline-six provides the torque necessary for off road excitement
and it has new headers to give it a boost. The engine bay is highly
detailed. It has a 4-speed manual transmission and is sitting on
brand new 31X10 50rR15 Mud Country Tires with the white steel
