Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer for sale in our Houston
showroom one stunning 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. This Goodwood Green
drop-top is part of the 2nd generation of Corvettes often referred
to as "Sting Rays." With '67 being the end of the iconic C2
generation of Corvettes, this is truly the last of its breed and
one of the most sought after Corvettes in history. This example
came with the potent L79 327 CID V8, producing a stock 350HP;
however, with the addition of a much stouter upgraded cam, and
aluminum intake with a Holley 4bbl carb, it's making well over
350HP. With its numbers matching original engine and Muncie M20
4-speed manual transmission, you're sure to enjoy putting it
through its paces. Firing up the mighty mouse V8 will set this
beast into a lopey burble at idle, but one stomp on the loud pedal
and this beast will wail. While you're enjoying the rowdy 327's
power, you'll be glad that you've got all new disc brakes at all
four corners, and the optional F41 performance suspension keeping
you glued to the road as you power smoothly out of corners with no
open-diff tire slippage, thanks to its G81 PosiTrac differential
turning its 3.70:1 gears. The Goodwood green paint shines better
than new, its hardtop has been repainted with new weather
stripping. Its N11 offroad exhaust expels gases through its
original N14 sidemount Exhaust (which really look good along the
rocker panels), and its chrome bumpers glisten in the sunlight. The
interior cradles you in place with perfect placement of the driver
controls, for anything from casual cruising to full on racing.
You'll be sure to enjoy the fact that its A82 headrests were
ordered with its Saddle vinyl seats, once the sun goes down you can
flip up the headlights and watch the reflections of the city dance
along its muscular fenders while you cruise in either hardtop-on
(the optional C07 Auxiliary Hardtop is original and comes with the
car); or drop-top down mode, with its black convertible top tucked
securely away. ***This car has a certified appraisal that goes with
it, comes with restoration pictures & build information, mileage
service records, it also has many receipts for upgrades &
maintenance over the course of cars lifetime*** Options include:
Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Saddle Vinyl
