Burgundy body with black trim and fenders; all steel body, black leather seat, 62,265 odometer reading is believed to be original miles; 35hp engine, engine number 4805520; listed weight 2035 lbs. Excellent mechanical, exterior and interior condition. Rare -- production for 1928 listed by Chevy as "N/A". Features and Accessories include Chevrolet "bow tie" floor matting, finished trunk matting and siding, Chevrolet wings hood ornament/radiator cap, electric gas pump (mounted under car) and original vacuum gas pump (so you can use either system), key lock for steering wheel, hand crank, 1928 Utah license plates, original vintage promotional/advertising material and spare parts. Chevrolet produced the AA "Capital" in 1927 but as car companies opted for more grandiose names, the 1928 model grew to AB "National" (with the 1929 model named the "International" and 1930 named the "Universal".) The new 1928 AB National was lengthened by 4" to 107" wheel base, had four-wheel brakes, full-crown fenders and larger bullet-shaped headlamps to better light the road. Standard equipment included a inside rear-view mirror, rear light and brake light, parking lights and a gas gauge. Bumpers, however, were still optional -- but purchased by the original owner of this car. This is a fantastic car. I am also willing to consider a trade for 1930s vintage (or 1955) car.
