Vehicle Description
This is one of only 943 built. As documented on the warranty card,
this car was sold new by Moody Pontiac located in Fort Lauderdale,
FL, to Richard Albury Jr. on August 30, 1974. Pontiac Historical
Society paperwork shows this car was ordered with many factory
options, including front and rear seat belts with front shoulder
belts, Soft Ray glass, power windows, front and rear floor mats,
roof drip moldings, window sill and hood rear edge moldings, air
conditioning, front seat console, tilt steering wheel, GR70x15 WL
steel-belted radial tires, AM/FM stereo radio, hood decal, trim
group and lamp group. As photos document, this car was in very nice
original condition prior to the comprehensive rotisserie
restoration. This car was restored to a higher level than most
restored Super Dutys. During the restoration only minor bodywork
was required. The body is extremely straight with excellent gap
lines throughout. The car was finished in its original color of
Admiralty Blue with very high, show-quality paint; the result
gorgeous. The interior is rich and beautiful. Everything in the
interior has been restored or replaced and is in working order,
including the air conditioning, radio and seatbelt buzzer light.
The trunk compartment is nice and neat. The engine compartment is
highly detailed throughout and is home to the factory-original
matching-numbers SD 455ci V8 engine that was completely rebuilt.
During the restoration, headers were added to the engine for
improved performance and sound. The factory manifolds have been
detailed and are included. The Turbo automatic transmission and
12-bolt rear end were also completely rebuilt. The undercarriage is
also highly detailed throughout, including the red oxide floors.
This car has recently been completely serviced and detailed which
is documented. This is an amazing looking, running and driving car.
