Vehicle Description
This car has been inspected by Jerry MacNeish and certified by
Camaro Hi-Performance as a real factory-built Z/28. The engine has
been rebuilt and the suffix code has been restamped. The engine
block was decked and numbers were shaved during the machining work
of the rebuild process. The numbers were restamped back to original
suffix code. Checking casting dates of the block shows the correct
dates to other casting dates of the car's components. The serial
number by the oil filter matches the car VIN. The 4-speed manual
transmission was built the same time as the engine block, and the
car's assembly date of 03E is the fifth week of March. The engine
date is March 28. The upgraded JL-8, 12-bolt disc brake rear axle
was built March 16, 1969.
