Vehicle Description
1937 Desoto Street Rod for Sale. Check out this remarkable and
unique Street Rod. Stunning to look at, and awesome to drive!
Here's a proven quality built Street Rod. Proven dependability in
receiving the Power Tour's Long Haul Award cruising from Kissimmee,
Florida to Englishtown, New Jersey. Then the owner turned around
and drove it back home to Florida too! This rare Desoto is powered
by a Chevy 350 CI V8, mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission
with Lokar styled shifter. A Mustang II front end with power
steering, disc brakes, and Vintage air conditioning. The engine has
a polished aluminum intake, Edelbrock Carb, ribbed aluminum valve
covers, air breather, Mallory Ignition, and Hooker Headers. Moving
to the interior, you will find an extremely comfortable cloth bench
seat finished in a two tone light and medium tan color. VDO Classic
vintage gold rimmed gauges keep the driver informed of what's going
on under the long hood. A hidden Kenwood stereo CD player is tucked
away in the glove box and a pleasant option is the addition of a
tilt steering column. The trunk is completed to show quality
standards in the same material as the interior of this Classic
Cruiser! Note the three hinge doors. In the day, standard
automobiles received two hinges per door. Higher quality vehicles
of the time received three hinges per door which accounts for their
smooth opening and firm closing operation. This solid black cruiser
is imposing with it's high gloss chrome bumpers and brilliant
chrome moldings running the length of the hood. Look at the
accenting mag styled wheels with Desoto center caps tying the whole
package together. The car rolls on Sumitomo 195/70R 14's while the
rear carries 255/70R 15's. We see a lot of Street Rods come and go,
but here's one that's grabbing everyone's attention! Truly a unique
Cruiser! Here's an opportunity to capture every enthusiast's eye
cruising in with this Beautiful Black Desoto. Driving out as nice
as it looks! It can be yours, ready to cruise and enjoy!
