Bought new from McClure-Norrington Chevrolet in Kansas City Missouri, this remarkable time capsule has 15,880 pampered miles from new. A four door sedan Impala, with all correct and original trim, it’s finished in Autumn Gold with flawless red cloth/Vinyl upholstery. Equipped with the lowest horsepower engine available, the 235 cubic inch 135hp six cylinder engine and three speed column shifted manual transmission. Options are scarce, AM radio, dual exterior mirrors and added rear fender skirts.
The least desirable body style, with documented low original miles and a six cylinder engine with a manual transmission, I suspect this is probably the rarest 1962 Impala in existence…
