Vehicle Description
Worldwide Vintage Autos is pleased to present this 1973 BMW
2002.We scour the country for vintage cars and trucks and we
rarely come across one like this! You must see and drive this rare
BMW 2002!
HISTORY
The 1600-2, as the first "02 Series" BMW was designated, was an
entry-level BMW, and was smaller, less expensive, and less
well-appointed than theNew Class Sedanon which it was
based.BMW's design director Wilhelm Hofmeister assigned the
two-door project to staff designers Georg Bertram and Manfred
Rennen. The 23cm (9.1in) shorter lengthand wheelbase and lighter
weight of the two-door sedan made it more suitable than the
original New Class sedan for sporting applications. As a result,
the two door sedan became the basis of the sporting 02 Series.

Own this vintage 1973 BMW 2002 at wholesale cost. The cost of parts
and restoration of these vehicles are increasing daily. They are
not making any more and, therefore, they are becoming more rare by
the day. Buy one complete and ensure your investment for the
future. Don't do the work yourself, get one finished for roughly
half of the cost of building it yourself!
An excellent investment and something you can enjoy daily.
Collectible vintage vehicles have historically appreciated at a
rate greater than that stock market, gold and other arts and
collectibles as documented by many articles and auction result
tracking.
