1997 Land Rover Defender 110. No expense spared building this
ULTIMATE "Skyfall" Defender. Only top of the line parts and

There are no known issues with this vehicle. Just under 30K miles
have been put on the chassis since the rebuild. All maintenance is
performed in a timely fashion. Oil changes at 5K miles are the
norm. The original (and only owner) is obsessive about staying on
top of everything. Impeccable autocheck with a score of 51 and
documented one owner and no accidents.�
HISTORY�
SPECIFICS / BUILD INFORMATION
This is a one owner 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 (NAS), or North
American specification,�Station Wagon (hardtop). It was purchased
at Land Rover East in Denver, Colorado. This was�the last year that
the Defender was brought into the US market. Originally, the
vehicle was�Alpine White until its restoration and modification in
May of 2011.�
During the restoration and modification process, the body was
completely disassembled. Any�panel that was experiencing galvanic
corrosion was replaced. All body panels were stripped to�bare
aluminum and repainted in Zambezi Silver (code: 737-ZAMBEZI
SLV).
This is without question the finest resto/mod you will find in
North America. No expense was�spared.
EXTERIOR�
-The firewall was�zinc bathed and lined with Line-X to prevent
future corrosion issues.�
-All exterior fasteners on the�vehicle are marine grade stainless
steel.
-The vehicle was restored and improved from the ground up. This
includes a conversion from theoriginal 90 inch frame, to a full
galvanized 110 inch frame from Marsland in the UK.
-Atop the�chassis, the 90 Station Wagon was converted to a 110 4
door Double Cab.
-All body parts are�factory ordered parts, making this an
incredibly rare vehicle.
-New parts include the roof, rear�doors, and pickup bed. For "movie
star status", it is very similar to the vehicle in the James
Bond�"Skyfall" movie.
-Drive train improvements include Terra Firma control arms, shocks
and shock towers.
-Zu racing�wheels shod with BFGoodrich All Terrain tires.
-Front and rear differentials have Great Basin�4.11 gears and ARB
lockers. Poly bush components along with a 2 inch lift kit has been
added.
-The brakes are drilled and slotted discs. This truck will climb a
tree if asked and stop surely with�no drama.
-Finally, the vehicle is equipped with an external roll cage from
Safety Devices.
-The box bed is�Line-X'd and comes with both a bikini cover as well
as a fully enclosed insulated canvas top with�galvanized frame.
INTERIOR
-The interior is a full Exmoor Black Span Mondus interior.�
- The front driver and passenger seats include Inflatable lumbar
support and are individually heated. The rear seats are a 60/40
split�configuration.
-For noise abatement, the entire interior has been Line-X'd and
Dynamatted. The headliner is full�Alcantara.
-Carpets are German square weave a'la Mercedes Benz, in a
complimentary salt and�pepper tone to the balance of the
interior.
-A fully padded and secure central cubby box is provided by Exmoor
for locking valuable out of�the sight of prying eyes.
-Windows in the rear portion of the vehicle have a 30% tinting to
further
security.
-Gauges are original and in full working order. Billet aluminum
treatment has been given�to the gauge faces, heater vents, gear
shift knob, transfer case knob, door fittings, seat back�levers,
and heater controls.
This is without question the finest resto/mod you will find in
North America. No expense was�spared.
MECHANICAL
The motor was not spared in the transformation of this vehicle. The
original 4.0 liter mill has�been increased to 4.6L. It is a ported,
polished, and balance build, sporting a Crower�Performance
Camshaft.
-Engine breathing has been improved with carbon fiber
trumpets�beneath the 4.6 motor cover, and a fully functional Mantec
snorkel.
All electrical fittings have been brought to Mil-Spec standards.
This includes wire gauge,�connectors, and fuses. The main power
buss has been left in factory standard order.
-All�additional electrical load are handled by an independent
secondary buss beneath the passenger�seat cubby.
-There are two AGM batteries added in 2015 that are isolated via a
battery switch on�the front driver side cubby and at the steering
column.
-Lighting on and in the vehicle are all LED. Headlights are from JW
Speaker. Off-road lights are�from Rigid Industries. If you can't
see something, you're blind.
