For sale in our Chicago showroom is this very original 1968
Plymouth Road Runner. Sporting its original "Turbine Bronze" paint
and a freshly redone interior, this is one sharp looking ride.
Powered by the original 383 V8 and 727 Torquflite transmission,
this Mopar can move! A few upgrades have been installed to help the
engines efficiency. An aluminum intake manifold and a hotter
ignition system insure to make every last bit of power get squeezed
out of this 6.3L V8. Throw the trans in "D" and cruise this classic
Mopar anywhere you want to go. The slick black interior is more
than inviting, and driving this Road Runner is like being on a
motorized couch. The exhaust gives a soft burble with no drone or
resonating in the cabin, but it is still loud enough to let you
know that there are quite a few ponies under the hood waiting to be
released. The car shifts through the gears with ease, and there is
always plenty of power to pass. With so many of these classics
getting chopped up, hopped up, an (sadly) wrecked, finding an
original "barn find" like this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. Options
on this example include: AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat
Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires with Raised White Letters.
