1939 Ford Deluxe Convertible Sedan
85 HP, 3-speed Floor Shift (Stricktly Stock)
I purchased the car in 1995 in New Jersey. I had five other cars at the time - 3 Mustangs ('66 Convertible, '66 Fastback & '70 Deluxe Convertible), '70 Ford Ranchero and a '77 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham - so the Convertible Sedan was garage kept, seldom used and only used in good weather. I moved to Virginia in 1997 and built a house with a 4-car garage. I slowly restored the car with new paint in original Dartmouth Green, a complete interior saddle vinyl and a new tan top. It also has a new fuel pump, carburetor, distrubutor, wires and caps. (I have extra parts.) I had it converted to a 12 volt. Radio needs a radio tube and to be converted to a 12 volt.
This car has basically never been driven more than 30-35 miles from my home, has never been in inclement weather and is put away from November to May in the garage under my house.
The reason for the sale is that I am now 80 years old with some health problems. I will include the parts catalog for this car and a Ford Motors Auto Repair Manual Flat Rate Book.
