For Sale: 2000 BMW M5 in La Selva Beach, California

Vehicle Description

Car enthusiasts have long regarded the BMW E39 M5 as the perfect sports sedan because of its “perfect balance between power and size.” Producing 400hp with a 7,000 RPM redline, the S62 5.0L V8 engine that propels it is reputedly the best V8 BMW ever made. This engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a sport suspension provides a quick, nimble and exhilarating drive. Engaging the “Sport” mode heightens the exhilaration. Handling on mountain roads and open highway is legendary.

This fully optioned (including on-board computer, GPS Navigation and USB connector) car represents the first production model and is finished in the very rare Royal Red with black interior.

This is a three-owner car purchased new in Tucson, AZ. The second owner brought it to Prescott, AZ and kept it in a climate-controlled garage. I relocated it to the California Central Coast where nature meticulously regulates climate.

It has been driven a mere 42,605 miles and fits the oft-repeated descriptive “as new.”

I have all tools, books and records. The car meets strict California emissions standards. Personal inspections are welcome.

I am selling it to finance purchase of another collectible car.
