The unique idea of having half car half truck was first introduced
by Ford in Australia and the main purpose was to have a vehicle
that could both get you to church on Sunday and get the pigs to the
market on Mondays. Since this innovative idea was introduced in the
late 50's the idea had spread and Chevrolet was soon producing a
vehicle that would compete which they called the El Camino or "the
road" in Spanish. By the year 1984 Chevrolet was already on their
fifth generation of the El Camino and had given it much sharper
lines and squared off edges for a very sleek appearance. Now
featured in our Milwaukee showroom is this spectacular
representation of what the 1984 Chevrolet El Camino was meant to
be. It is both a car made for utility purposes of every-day life
and then take to the local cruise night or car show to show it off!
The red cloth interior has held up nicely over the years and
provides a comfortable ride. While cruising along you can enjoy the
creature comforts that come with the El Camino including, an AM/FM
radio with CD player, tilt wheel, power windows, power locks, power
brakes, power steering, cruise control, and the air conditioning on
those hot days. The 5.0L V8 has a quiet rumble to it as you start
it up, but will come to life as you put your foot down. The smooth
shifting automatic transmission transfers the power out to the 17"
American Racing rims that provide this classic with plenty of
traction and style. Hidden under that tonneau cover though, is a
set of train horns that will grab anybodies attention including the
guy that just cut you off in traffic. This El Camino is complete
and ready for summer cruise nights and local car shows. This
vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this
1984 Chevrolet El Camino in greater detail including HD pictures
