the symbol of American muscle, and this 1968 Chevelle SS Tribute is
one to behold. With its 383 CID V8, built with a mild cam, you'll
feel the power, and won't much care if the VIN says it's an
original SS or not. The 383 power plant is hooked to a 400 turbo 3
speed automatic a transmission that was built with a shift kit to
give you the hard shifting drag car feel that these muscle cars are
all about. Popping the hood increases the wow factor as the 383 SBC
has been tastefully dressed up with chrome valve covers, chrome air
breather, aftermarket pulleys and brackets. A Holley double pumper
carburetor insures this 383 gets plenty of fuel. Getting the
exhaust gases out of the engine are a set of long tube headers.
They are covered in heat wrap to reduce heat in the engine
compartment and add t the overall look. This car isn't all GO it's
pretty easy to look at too! The exterior is finished in deep glossy
blue that is a base coat, clear coat paint process and white
stripes to accent the muscular lines of this Chevelle. To complete
the exterior look are a set of 18 inch Ridler wheels riding on
235/40/18 tires in the front and 255/45/18 tires on the rear.

done in black vinyl Procar Racing Seats in the front, white rear
factory bench seat, blue carpet, custom console with cup holders, a
B&M ratchet shifter and a dash full of Autometer gauges to keep
