This Special Centennial Edition Corvette is powered by a 6.2-liter
430hp engine and 6-speed paddle shift automatic transmission. With
100 actual miles, it has been stored in a secure,
climate-controlled garage. Standard mechanical equipment includes
power steering; speed-sensitive, variable-ratio, rack & pinion
steering; traction control system; active handling; oil life
monitor system and 4-wheel independent suspension system. Safety
and security equipment includes tire pressure monitor systems and
Run-Flat tires, keyless access with pushbutton start, airbags
(front- and side-impact with passenger sensing system), antilock
brake system and 4-wheel disc brakes. Besides standard equipment,
this car has 3LT Preferred Equipment Group, Memory Package, sport
seats, power bolster and power lumbar, luggage shade and parcel
net, heated front seats, steering column, DVD navigation system,
9-speaker Bose Premium Audio, universal home remote, Bluetooth and
heads-up display. The Centennial Edition came in one color: Carbon
Flash Metallic, with satin-black graphics, satin black wheels and
red brake calipers giving the car a sinister look. The 18" front
and 19" rear wheels are lightweight cast-spun alloys with a thin
red outline around the perimeter. It comes with removable roof
panel and power heated outside mirrors. A graphic logo featuring
the Louis Chevrolet image appears not only on the B-pillars, but
also the center caps of the wheels. The crossed checker flag logos
feature the number 100 instead of the traditional fleur-de-lis
symbol. The car's exterior treatment is echoed in the cabin, with
6-way power driver's seat, cruise control with resume, power door
locks, programmable theft deterrent system, tilt leather-wrapped
steering wheel, air conditioning and dual-zone climate control.
