This Senior 1500 Series Super 8 Packard was originally sold in Jersey City, NJ in October 1937, It made its way to California where I bought it in 2012. Before being shipped to Florida it spent 2 months at Custom Auto Service in Santa Ana, Ca making the car road worthy. It is a daily driver for me. I use it in the winter months to show real estate in The Villages. A real eye catcher. Since buying the car I have put over $40,000 in mechanical maintenance and upgrades, including new pistons, new Babbitt bearings, completely overhauled the gas tank, rebuilt the front suspension and carburetor, new fuel pump, all new wiring, new vinyl top, radial tires, many new gaskets, R &A oil filter, added new electronic fuel pump for backup,and the list goes on and on. This is a great car to tour in and will turn a lot of heads going down the road.
