Austin Healey 100-4 modified with a LeMans kit 'M' style engine.
This rare very early production car is number 113, of which only
seven known surviving examples proceed this car based on the
HEALEYDATA website. Built on August 11th, 1953 . Restored in
California about 8 years ago where this BN-1 was brought up to BN-2
100M LeMans specifications while receiving fresh Signal Red paint
along with a new interior done by a renowned Pebble Beach trimmer.
The engine was rebuilt with 'M' upgrades: aluminum Weslake cylinder
head, high compression Le Mans spec pistons, camshaft, correct 1 '
SU carbs and air box,upgraded distributor, louvered hood with
bonnet strap, larger 'M' front swaybar and new tires with new
chrome wire wheels. The original three speed transmission was
replaced with a BN2 four speed with overdrive. Unfortunately, as
with most engine rebuilds, the original engine serial number tag
was lost. Included is a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust
certificate confirming information this car. Austin Healey 100's
are a joy to own and drive, being very dependable and this one with
the LeMans upgrade is exceptional . Additional pictures are
