Just completed frame-off restoration of a 1951 Ford F-3 Deluxe, Long bed. This barn found truck was once in service for the USPS in Western Kansas and Eastern Colorado as a large parcel delivery truck.
Carefully and lovingly restored from the frame up, everything on this truck has been rebuilt or replaced with new OEM parts and pieces. The motor (flathead 6, 229ci) and 3-speed transmission were rebuilt by top-end local Denver shops. The frame and related frame components were professionally bead blasted and powder coated, along with a rebuilt suspension system front to back. During the reassembly every bolt was replaced with stainless steel, along with new chrome parts, and a high end Red over Black custom paint job with clear coat.
Along with the standard features of a Ford Truck deluxe model; This truck boast of dual wipers, door locks, AM radio, arm rest, sound deadening, cab liners, and chrome accents. We installed new oak bed decking along with an under the bed fuel tank, a complete 12v electrical system, undercoated all the wheel wells, and Rhino-Lined the bed walls.
This is a truck, truck. A rare heavy duty ¾ ton street and road ready vehicle for pleasure, work or fun. No details were missed during this restoration making this a one-of-a-kind truck to own.
