This beautiful 1965 Mustang Coupe was sold new in Lake Havasu, Arizona and it has never left dry and rust free Arizona.
In the 80's and early 90's it belonged to our then Governor, Rose Mofford and she used it and was often seen driving the Mustang. In 1992 she sold the Mustang to her chief of staff and he resold the car 6 years later to the current owner.
The Mustang has never been in bad condition, no rust ever. It has been repainted in the correct, beautiful and rare Poppy Red. The rear seat is still original while the Guverner had the front seats redone in the late 80's.
Both exterior door handles shows some aging in the chrome, no pits just aging, the rest of the chrome is virtually like new!
The Mustang has the original 289 V8 with automatic trans and the original A/C still blows cold! A later model and more efficient A/C compressor is a great upgrade.
The Mustang is not a show car but a fantastic, dry, rust free, not messed with driver.
The car runs and drives great, the engine runs probably as good as it did in 1965, the trans shifts perfectly, breaks work perfect and the car is in need of absolutley nothing to be a great driver.
The Mustang is at our restoration shop in down town Phoenix, come and buy the car or we'll ship anywhere in the world.
