1948 Ford F1 western and southern history. First year of the new shape after WWII. Pretty much all stock. These kind of unmolested orignal first generation F-1's are getting harder to find. Whether you want to keep her stock or make her a resto mod this truck will fit your needs. It has 4 speed manual with spur 1st gear. I purchased it from a farmer in Wyoming in 2009 and it has been in Tennessee since then. I have used it as a light duty farm truck and to run to the farmer's market on the weekend. The paint has a nice natural patina to it and I think It looks like it's had one repaint at some point somewhere in the last 69 years. Wooden bed. Orginal 239 CID Flathead V8. Runs strong. Good rubber and nice wheel coverings. It has had a recent tuneup. Has an extra rear window and side window. The previous owner added a 12 volt battery - however the 6 volt battery is still installed and can be used to start the truck. I guess the previous owner wanted more power to turn over. It can be removed. Needs new brakes and many brake parts will come with the truck. I never bought it to restore her. I just liked the look of it and enjoyed having it for a few years.
