This is a 1971 Mach 1 Mustang. It is a numbers matching vehicle
with a Ford FMX transmission and 351 Cleveland 2V engine per VIN.
The interior has been altered from it's original factory color
(Ginger weave) to black.
The paint and Decals are original and show a few signs of wear
(chips etc) on the front bumper.
This was sold in California originally.

This car is tons of fun to drive. It prefers to rev pretty high and
shifts aggressively (enough to chirp tires and slide the back end
out if you're on it). I've used it as a daily driver plenty of
times and it holds up great. The automatic transmission comes in
handy especially in California traffic. The 2 barrel 351 Cleveland
up front is just about perfect for a California cruiser that can
still smoke tires and catch some eyes. It sounds great too. Not so
loud that it's obnoxious but has a solid American grunt.
