For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is the true turbo, the
icon of the 80's, the Widowmaker. We are pleased to present to you
the 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, also known as the Porsche
930. The story of the 930 begins just like so many other legendary
street cars. Originally intended as a homologation for Group 4
racing, it was clear in Stuttgart that the 930 was a marvelous hit
with customers, and the original run of 400 vehicles was quickly
expanded. The racing pedigree of this vehicle is blatantly obvious.
From the "tea tray" spoiler, to the aero front fascia, to the
flared finders, the 930 sported all of the looks of a purebred
racer. However, stepping inside, you cannot mistake this for
anything other than the crme of the Porsche crop, with power
leather seats, air conditioning and heat. If you were the over
successful Wall Street broker, then you would opt for a 930 like
the one you see here - the Cabriolet. This car in particular has
less than 54,300 original miles, and has undergone a very
comprehensive restoration with the accompanying receipts. The car
has been in the meticulous care of the current owner since 2000,
and his attention to detail shows in the condition of the vehicle,
and the level of restoration that it has been graced with. If you
are fans of the show Fast N'Loud, you may recognize the name ASM
Auto Upholstery. That is right, Sue's shop are the master craftsmen
behind this fabulously redone black leather interior. At 49,000
miles, Louden Motorcar Services rebuilt the engine, including
remanufacturing the turbo, making sure this gem runs just as hard
as the day it left the factory. Advantage Autoworks resprayed the
car in properly coded Porsche Guards Red in September of 2016.
There is a large stack of accompanying receipts that can be
provided to serious buyers. Suffice to say, this is one well
pampered 930 that is ready to go for its next loving home. To view
