For sale in our Chicago showroom is a unique 1990 Buick Reatta. The
Reatta was a Grand Tourer/Sports car that was introduced by Buick
as a coupe in 1988 and convertible in 1990 and was based on the
General Motors E-Platform. At the time of production separate
stations were created with specialized teams of workers to perform
work and assembly and then the car was transferred robotically to
the next station in a similar what that custom coach builders made
vehicles. Under the hood is the popular and reliable 3800 V6 that
delivers smooth acceleration and good gas mileage thanks in part to
the 4-speed automatic transmission. This particular vehicle has
traveled just under 114,000 miles and was incredibly well kept by
the previous owner. The white convertible top looks great in
contrast with the medium blue exterior and matching blue leather
interior. Technology in vehicles was vastly improving and the
Reatta received all of the "bells and whistles" one would expect at
the time. The interior of this sporty Buick features leather bucket
seats, power windows, power locks, cruise control, full power seats
with lumbar support, digital climate control and a Delco AM/FM
Stereo with cassette and CD player. This car also features remote
keyless entry which was a new feature on cars of the time and an
optional front bra was added to protect the front fascia on the
highway. This car delivers all of the personal luxury one would
expect in 1990 with a price tag that was slightly higher than a new
Corvette. Located in our Chicago showroom this 1990 Buick Reatta
