manual transmission!� Sweet car in so many ways and an absolutely
excellent driver! Chevrolet was continuing a very successful
Corvette model in 1958 with only a few changes to the car which
included new fiberglass body panels that now included dual front
headlights and integrated hood ridges. The trunk lid added chrome
trunk spears, the grill lost 4 teeth now totaling only 9, and the
bumpers were now stronger being bolted directly to the chassis.�
Inside, the gauges were rearranged with a new 160mph speedometer
and centered tachometer, a passenger grab bar was built into the
dash, two-piece door panels, and standard seat belts! This gorgeous
1958 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is finished in correct Signet
Red accented by Snowcrest White coves and new Red Vinyl interior.
Optioned include factory original, date matching 283ci V8-245hp
engine with 2x4 Carter WCFB carburetors, 4-speed transmission, 3.70
rear axle ratio, dash tachometer, heater, courtesy light, whitewall
tires, Wonderbar signal seeking AM radio, and white soft top!

1102043 - 8E19 (May 19th, 1958) Only 9,167 Corvettes were produced
in 1958, of which just 1,897 were 245hp equipped units with a
manual transmission, making them highly prized collectibles! This
late production example was restored an estimated 10 years ago and
continues to appear exceptionally fresh in person!� The paint
finish is superb on a no-hit body that possesses excellent fit and
body gaps.� Matching in quality are excellent chrome & stainless
pieces, upgraded Coker Classic radial whitewall tires, new brake
system, new fuel delivery lines, along with a detailed engine with
correct GM hoses, clamps, fresh air ducting, 7-ribbed aluminum
Corvette valve covers, heater core & gaskets, etc.� It received new
chassis rubber & suspension components underneath, but appears to
have never had its body removed since it was born in June 1958.
�Having been shown more than driven these last few years so the
carburetors have been recently cleaned & adjusted, along with new
front wheel bearings & kingpins, new spark plugs & points, valve
cover gaskets, and oil/filter change. It drives with perfect ease!
The engine response never falters; it travels effortlessly down the
road, and keeps pace with everyday traffic making this a perfect
summertime cruiser, and terrific Corvette investment!� The�dash
clock�is presently inoperable.� All tire changing equipment and
spare tire are present, as well as carpeted front floor mats.�
Although somewhat biased, we believe this is THE color combination
