For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this clean and mean
1968 Chevrolet Camaro. The beast you see before you has been the
beneficiary of a long and extensive restoration and modification
process to get to where it is today. To start off, nearly
everything on the car is new, and there are the receipts to prove
it. Everything from the emblems, trim pieces, bumpers, and carpet,
to the suspension underneath has been restored or replaced on this
car. It is questionable if Chevrolet even made them this nice when
they were new! Of course the real treat to this 1st Gen Camaro is
how it moves, and the noises it makes while doing so. The engine is
is a 454 that has been built to put it lightly. Parts used in
breathing life into this Big Block Chevy include polished Edelbrock
Air Gap intake manifold, Coan 4500 rpm stall converter, balanced
rotating assembly, JE 12.6:1 pistons, Eagle 4340 steel crankshaft,
Eagle H-beam rods, Cloyes hex-adjust double roller timing set,
solid roller cam, SFI flywheel, Holley 850 double pumper, Taylor
Spiro Rev yellow plug wires, MSD distributor, and a 3 angle valve
job. Power is put to the ground through a TCI competition built
TH350 3 speed automatic with reverse shift pattern and reverse
lockout, and a Chevrolet 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. When the
owner told us that you can draw 11's on the pavement for blocks, we
were inclined to believe him! We also understand why it was deemed
unnecessary to leave the nitrous unhooked. Despite all of the power
though, this vehicle still maintains lots of drivability, and would
be a perfect pick for your next show & shine, or cruise in. Take
your pick if you want to turn some heads, or turn the tires. Either
way, pick this Camaro to get it done! To view this vehicle in
