SL name has always signified a certain level of quality and
sophistication and the R107 model would be no exception. Introduced
in 1972 year as a replacement for the W113 series, the 107 would
make an unprecedented model run all the way through �89. For me,
these cars bring back very fond memories of my grandfather teaching
me to drive around the neighborhood in his 380SL, which speaks
volumes for the ease at which these cars can be piloted. This �82
is a great example of an original well preserved 380SL. Owned by
the same family since it was brand new, this little 380SL has been
garaged and was part of their collection of several classic cars.
This SL was usually driven on the week end to various outdoor car

design handling characteristics are not quite what you would
