For sale in our Dallas showroom is a car that has done what so many
people dream to do. Built to be a long hauler on the Hotrod Power
Tour, this machine has managed to do it four times, all four times
were from beginning to end. Built as a frame up restoration, she
evolved to the restomod you see in front of you after that was
complete. The restoration took 3 � years and the rest of the
transformation 8 years. The engine is a 383 CID V8 Stroker with
forged internals, AFR Heads, and a FAST EZ EFI. That is mated to a
T-56 Six Speed manual transmission, an aftermarket hydraulic slave
cylinder, Spec Clutch, Fidanza Flywheel and Pro 5.0 shifter. The
suspension was completely redone with Detroit Speed and Engineering
pieces including: Upper and lower front control arms, rear Quadra
link with a narrowed Chevrolet 12 Bolt differential with Dutchman
axels and 3.73:1 gears. To go with the narrowed rear end Detroit
Speed mini tubs were installed to allow the wider rear 315/35/17
tires for the grip needed. The brakes are Wilwood front six piston
calipers in the front and four piston in the rear. In 2015 the
engine was refreshed with new piston rings, main and rod bearings,
a new oil pump, and new Comp Cam valve springs. So this engine is
far from worn out. Power and performance were the only things on
the builders mind, comfort was too. I mean would you want to spend
hours upon hours in a car that baked you to death, I think not.
Vintage air was utilized to keep the temperatures inside nice and
comfy. The paint is incredible especially considering the miles
that have passed. But what else would you expect from PPG two stage
paint. If a really good restomod is on your bucket list, this
Camaro should not be overlooked. The features include AC, AM/FM/CD
player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior,
