Vehicle Description
For sale in our Chicago showroom is this glimmering 1972 Chevrolet
El Camino SS. The El Camino concept was created in 1959 in response
to the popular Ford Ranchero and had a successful but brief 2 year
run returning as the second generation model in 1964. This third
generation SS started life with a 350 cubic inch V8 that did its
job but is no match for the 454 Chevy crate motor that is currently
under its custom hood. Backing up this big block is a 400 Turbo
transmission delivering power back to the 10 bolt rear end. It is
becoming more unusual to see El Caminos on the road than ever
before and they are prized by collectors for not only the great
look but functionality of having a full pickup bed and the driving
habits of a car. This example is one of the nicest you are sure to
come across and features a very high quality paint job finished in
Super Silver metallic with custom Jack Daniels airbrushing on the
hood. Although drinking and driving never mix you can be sure to
get noticed in this machine on bright sunny days and save those
refreshments for when she is resting in the garage. On the inside
you will notice a very original interior save for the Jack Daniels
airbrushing behind the seats. The black vinyl buckets look great in
contrast to the bright silver paint. Options on this El Camino
include power steering, power brakes, AM/FM stereo, SS Steering
wheel, horseshoe shifter, custom bed cover and chrome Cragar
wheels. For more information on this stunning 1972 Chevrolet El
