Vehicle Description
Our Detroit Showroom is very proud to offer this 1979 Lincoln Mark
V Bill Blass Designer Series. The Lincoln Mark V is a personal
luxury vehicle sold by Lincoln for the model years 1977 through
1979 and derived from the same chassis as the model before, the
Mark IV. The Mark V was the largest of the Lincoln cars ever
produced and also the most popular best selling model of the
Lincoln brand. This 1979 Lincoln is an all original super low
mileage survivor which even still has the original paint that looks
as good as the day it left the showroom. This 1979 Bill Blass
Lincoln is in pristine condition inside and out thanks to spending
nearly its entire life in a large collection of cars that were
stored in a temperature controlled environment and is now currently
owned and recently maintained by a designer at Lincoln styling.
This 1979 Lincoln runs and drives like brand new thanks in part to
all of the recent major servicing which includes the air
conditioning compressor rebuilt and system recharged, carburetor
was rebuilt, new plugs and wires, fuel lines, electronic spark
control module, EGR valve, and belts, the gas tank was emptied and
cleaned and a new fuel filter installed, a new and correct exhaust
was installed, and the power window motors were rebuilt. Included
with the car is the original window sticker, the Mark V brochure
from 1979, the vehicle build sheet, and the Marti Report as well.
The quality of this 1979 Lincoln is incredible and matches the
rarity of this pristine Bill Blass edition Continental. For more
