This gorgeous customized 1937 Ford Pickup is for sale at Gateway
Classic Cars, and is located in our Houston Showroom. This custom
streetrod truck is an amazing piece of art that is sure to please.
Looks that kill, an options list a mile long, V8 power, incredible
custom touches, and top of the line parts only begin to describe
this one of a kind hot rod. It starts with the Downs body with
chopped roof line, shaved door handles, forward tilting hood, roll
pan, and LED lights. Everywhere you look on this truck is custom.
It rides on an EasyStreet Air Ride suspension mounted to the Downs
chassis, and has power rack and pinion steering and power disc
brakes. The powertrain begins with what is perhaps the most popular
of streetrod engines - the ubiquitous Chevy 350 small block. The
power is taken from the V8 and passed through a 700R4 four speed
automatic transmission and finally through a Ford 9" rear end with
3.00 gears that are great for cruising. Open the door and you are
greeted by stainless rock trim, black carpet, custom black floor
mats, and bucket seats. The seats are nicely covered in black and
red leather, which put you in a comfortable position as you face a
beautifully painted custom dash adorned with white-face VDO gauges.
The A/C controls are nicely framed by a billet aluminum plate,
which pairs nicely with a chrome tilt column and a Billet
Specialties steering wheel. The Blaupunkt AM/FM radio is connected
to a 6 disc CD changer mounted in the bed, so you can bring all of
your favorite tunes with you on long trips. The bed is finished in
carpet and custom vinyl wrapped boxes that hold the compressor, CD
changer and battery; all of which are nicely covered, yet easy to
get to when needed. If you are looking for a great driving custom
pickup that will bring a smile to your face while cruising, and add
trophies to your case from competing in shows, look no further! For
