This 1927 Ford Model T is located in our FT Lauderdale FL showroom.
The Model T is the car that really brought the idea of a motorized
buggy to the masses. With a model run that lasted for 2 decades and
over 15 million units to say it was a success would be an
injustice. The model T was great for its time but impractical to
drive in modern times. That is where the street rod comes in. A
street rod is basically a Pre-WWII car that's been modified with
more modern components to increase performance and even comfort.
This is a perfect example of just that. Starting with the body,
which was completely disassembled and taken down to bare metal, was
then protected using Rustloc epoxy ensuring the medal for years to
come. The body was then put back on the factory frame with the
spring brackets welded to the frame rails. The floor panels were
all replaced with removable panels making it not only structurally
sound but easier for maintenance. The front end has adjustable coil
overs for ride quality and a GM disc brake set up giving it modern
stopping performance. The rear end has the same set up but uses a
97 Ford with a 2.71 gear making this a great highway car. Power is
made from a peppy 302 Ford that was converted over to a Holley 4
Barrel keeping the fuss of electronics to a minimum. Mated up to an
AOD transmission the modern features on this street rod just keep
going. The interior has been outfitted with a state of the art
sound system that even has a flip out TV so you can enjoy you're
favorite movie while at the next car show. The new black vinyl top
and seat covers are a great contrast against the bright red paint
job. It even has some LED's that with the flip of a switch will
have a soft glow coming from underneath the car. Definitely not an
option in 1927 but then again the only thing 1927 about this
Streetrod is the title. Don't wait, call today! Options on the 1927
Ford Model T include; AM/FM/CD/DVD, Manual Top, Seat Belts, Vinyl
Interior, and Radial Tires. This 1927 Ford Model T Streetrod can be
