Mustang Coupe. Upon its official debut in 1965, the Ford Mustang
was Ford's most successful launch since the Model A. This iconic
machine essentially created the term "Pony Car" and has been
influencing the sports-car market ever since its birth. The
Mustang's release took the entire automotive industry by storm. It
was only anticipated that Ford would sell less than 100,000
Mustangs upon its arrival into the automotive world. Boy, were they
wrong! Ford produced over 1 million Mustangs within the first 18
months of its production due to the enormous demand. This "K Code"
Mustang means that it was factory equipped with a 289CID 4-Barrel
V8 that pumps out 271HP. This is the original K-code 289 V8 engine
has been rebuilt is paired to the original C4 3-Speed Automatic
transmission, which makes driving this mid 60's muscle car a blast.
Most K code Mustangs came with a 4-speed manual transmission,
therefore making this automatic K-Code Mustang exceptionally rare.
The interior on this Mustang is an Acadia Blue vinyl/carpet
interior that is all new and looks like it just came out of the
shop. Another very rare option is the bench seat in this Mustang.
That's right you could get a bench seat in a Mustang, they are just
very seldom seen. With the Automatic and Bench option, this K-code
Mustang is believed to be one of built in this configuration. This
nostalgic pony also has an improve factory handling package and
rests on a set of 15 inch steel wheels, which is another rarity.
Factory wheel covers have been order with pictures to come once
they arrive to the showroom. The Acadia Blue exterior is the final
piece making this a truly rare and collectable Mustang. This all
original Mustang has been documented and is in the Mustang High
