How fun! Take a 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup and put a late model
Chevrolet step side bed on the back complete with hard tonneau
cover. Dip the whole thing in Torch Red nail polish minus the front
bumper and some of the grill trim and light bezels. Through some
old school chrome rims on with Cooper Cobra rubber, just thick
enough to mean business but not large enough to be overkill. Update
the bench seat and gauge cluster with newer goods but keep it
looking as "stock" as possible. Tilt wheel and collapsible column
for comfort and safety. Keep the dash and doors red like the rest
of the truck and throw a red Bow Tie emblem in the center of the
steering wheel for posterity. Redo the headliner upholstery to
match the seats and door panels, ok what's left? Oh yeah, the power
- drop a 454 cubic inch V8 power plant into this one of a kind
truck and bam! That's what Chevrolet had in mind when they said
they were the heartbeat of America! Hop in, turn the key and
throttle the gas to feel your cardiac cycle increase, blood flowing
to all regions. You sit up straight as you drop the column shifter
to "D" for dominate. That's 454 cubic inches of pure American
muscle waiting for you to flex and you know you have the power to
tear up the streets, but sometimes just knowing is all the power
you need. Where are you going to take your heartbeat in America
first? To view this 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Truck in greater
