Fort Lauderdale showroom of GatewayClassicCars is proud to offer
this 1968 Pontiac Lemans. The Le Mans was introduced as the
top-of-the-line version of the compact-sized Pontiac Tempest toward
the end of the 1961 model year on GM's new y body platform. The
Tempest Le Mans was a trim package featuring sportier and more
luxurious trim than the Tempest, including different badging and
bucket seats. The trim option was available only on the two-door
sedan The GM A-bodied cars grew and got heavier, too, from 1968.
The LeMans and downscale Tempest versions retained the OHC sixes
and optional Pontiac V8's, which were now bored out to a
GM-marketing standard 350 cubic inches. Yes, each division's 350
cubic inch engine were their own in this era, and no parts
interchanged. The top V8 for LeMans was a 320 hp version of
Pontiac's 350, our '68 LeMans has the matching #s 350 2 bbl rated @

exhaust system added. This 1968 Pontiac Aleutian Blue LeMans has
