In 2001 Ford was on their third year of making the second
generation of the Ford Lightning; a performance truck that was the
best of all worlds. The Lightning was produced by Ford's Special
Vehicles Team (SVT) and their 2001 model was even better than the
ones that came before it with an additional 20 extra horsepower
being produced by the 5.4L V8 with a roots style supercharger. The
regular cab and short box kept the truck small and relatively light
weight while still having the full size bed to utilize. The wheels
gave it a much more performance look as well as helping it handle
to the abilities that would suit the rest of the drive train. This
White Lightning has been well maintained and left mostly original
since it was new and has just over 66,000 miles on it. Everything
that has been changed from stock on it has been done with taste and
provides it with a little more extra power. The performance
modifications include an aftermarket cold air intake, cat back
Bassani exhaust, and brand new performance tires. To help refine
the looks of this truck the front grille and intake were fitted
with an aftermarket billet style grill, tinted windows, and a bed
rug to protect both the paint and the items your carrying. This
truck is capable of performing with most everything on the road
while still having a sense of practicality if needed. This vehicle
is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 2001 Ford
SVT Lightning in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD
