This stunningly gorgeous bright red 1967 Ford Mustang is for sale
in our Louisville showroom. Ford's designers began drawing up
larger versions even as the original was achieving sales success,
and while Lee Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth,
he did oversee the 1967 redesign. From 1967 until 1973, the Mustang
got bigger but not necessarily more powerful. The Mustang was
facelifted, giving the Mustang a more massive look overall. Front
and rear end styling was more pronounced, and the "twin cove"
instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges.
Hardtop, fastback and convertible body styles continued as before.
This beautiful Mustang was purchased as a 1500 dollar project. The
owner went off to serve our great country, so a family friend
bought the Stang and completed the restoration. After returning
from his service, he bought the Pony back in its current condition.
The family friend spent over 30k in parts alone to get this car to
its current status. Under the hood is a sweet little 289 V8 engine.
To increase the power of this V8, the two barrel carburetor has
been replaced with a four barrel carburetor. The engine compartment
is as clean as a pin and very detailed. The Cobra Style breather
has been painted black and red along with the valve covers to
really stand out in the engine compartment. The rest of the engine
is either dripped in chrome or the bright red exterior paint. An
aluminum radiator has been added to make sure this 289 V8 stays
cool. Inside the interior looks fresh with new vinyl and carpet.
The factory gauges have been replaced a set of Sun Pro gauges to
keep track of the Oil pressure, Water temperature and the engine
rpm's. Options on this 1967 Ford Mustang include; AM/FM Radio with
Cassette Player, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Custom
Chrome Aluminum Alloy Wheels shod with Radial Tires. This 1967 Ford
