and comes with a written history of the restoration. The
restoration took 4 years to complete and began in 1980. The
extensive restoration included a color change from Black to a Red
Dupont Centari Acrylic Enamel with a Polyurethane additive. The
body was removed from the frame and the chassis was sand blasted,
acid etched, primed and painted. During the restoration the engine
was bored .020 over and received: new rod and main bearings,
pistons, timing gears, exhaust valves, water pump and hoses. The
classic also received a new clutch, throw-out bearing, motor
mounts, fuel pump, gas lines, brake lines/hoses, wheel
cylinder/springs/hoses and a master cylinder at the time of
restoration. The transmission, oil pump, starter and generator were
also rebuilt at the time of restoration. This is a very high end
example of a hard to find 1940 Model 46 Business Coupe. The classic
is very period correct and offers a step starter and
"three-on-the-tree" 3-speed manual transmission. The car runs and
