Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this bold, 1972
Datsun 521. This California Custom is extremely cool and ready to
drive and show! The 1972 Datsun 521 marked the last model year for
the 520-series pickup before the redesigned 620 was introduced, and
this mini truck was been extensively customized in 2014 with shaved
front lights, a custom grille, matte green paint with a gold flake
roof, chrome roof rack, chrome smoothies on red wheels and custom
chrome exhaust. The rear end has been customized too with shaved
tailgate latches, a roll pan and four tear drop tailights giving
this Datsun a street rod feel. Inside the bed has been nicely done
in rubberized spray in bedliner to keep the bed clean and usable.
The front spoiler names this truck "Mint Julep" and the Datsun
letting on the tailgate continues the gold theme from the roof.
Inside you have custom touches everywhere you look like bucket
seats, wood painted dash, door panels, custom center console, wood
steering wheel and headliner. This custom mini truck is sure to
catch stares and make you friends in the show scene. These trucks
are powered by an L16 four cylinder engine rated at 96 horsepower.
Backed by a 4 speed manual transmission these trucks are fun and
economical. Options include AM radio, power brakes, vinyl interior,
radial tires and hub caps. Located in our Tampa Showroom, this cool
