Convertible. The 49 Ford was the first completely redesigned
automobile to be introduced by the big three after the War. Many
say this was the car that not only saved Ford but ushered in the
modern design of the automobile. The integrated fenders were one of

advancement, which is now the standard, the X member ties in the
two frame rails giving you a much more rigid chassis. This 1949
Ford Custom is a great example of what they would look like when
they came out in 1949. This one has gone through a complete
restoration back to its factory correct color and interior making
it a very rare bird. The Convertible Top looks to be new, it is in
working order. Under the hood the flathead v8 looks great and
