MotoeXotica Classic Cars is happy to present this 1968 I-H Bonus
Load half-ton pickup truck. This highly optioned truck spent its
life in the dry Arizona mining town of Morenci and it really shows,
where the owner of Viallanti Motor Freight Company as his personal
truck ordered it new.It was originally registered in Arizona in
March of 1968 and the proof of that is very telling with the
amazing original undercarriage! This truck left the factory with
the following options: air-conditioning (very rare), three-point
harness (also very rare) automatic transmission, deluxe package,
cloth seats, dome lamp, full-size spare tire, power steering, power
brakes, transistor radio. The professional applied light green
paint and trim are in fantastic condition, as are the truck's glass
panels, no haze or cracks or scratches to be found. Its lights are
in very good order and the truck rolls on 235/75R15 whitewall tires
with factory wheel covers. All of the body panels are straight and
solid; even the cargo bed with its full-size spare tire, is in
great condition, with no noticeable dents or other blemishes. The
engine bay is very tidy; the front bumper is in very good order, as
is the battery. The muffler was replaced in September 2015 and the
air-condition was recharged in April 2016. Under the hood is I-H's
304 CID V-8, backed by a Borg-Warner three-speed automatic
transmission. Both have been rebuilt as stated by the previous
owner's logbook, however no physical receipts in hand. Inside, the
recently restored correct green cloth from SMS bench seat is in
very good condition. The headliner above is in good order and the
metal instrumental panel looks new. The two-spoke steering wheel is
in very good shape, as are the interior door panels. The mirror
glass and shift are both in good shape, too. Completing the
interior are the original pushbutton AM radio and I-H rubber
floormats. This truck is equipped with rarely seen factory A/C unit
which blows, but not cold. Documentation includes original owner's
manual, a logbook noting 2014 purchase, 2014 gas mileage data, list
of items repaired and other data, samples of replacement
upholstery, receipts showing $7,800 worth of restoration plus
miscellaneous insurance and inspection documents. Competition to
this International in 1968 included Chevrolet's C10, Ford's F150
and Dodge's D100 half-ton pickup trucks. This truck is currently
located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on
the odometer shows 71,778 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a
clean and clear, mileage exempt Arizona title, showing first
registration in Arizona on March of 1968! GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! VIN:
