Chevrolets produced from 1955 to 1957 are commonly referred to as
"Tri-Five" Chevrolets. Each year of the "Tri-Fives" featured
styling changes. For the 1957 model year, Chevrolet implemented
design cues barrowed from Cadillac in an effort to compete with the
all-new 1957 Ford. The car was very well received, and today the
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is arguably as one of the most iconic cars
of the 50s.
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has benefitted from a body-off
restoration. It shows beautifully, presented in red with brilliant
accenting brightwork. The car rides on wide whitewall tires with
factory wheel covers. Additional exterior features include dual
sideview mirrors as well as exhaust. It's powered by a 383-cid V-8
engine which is paired to an automatic transmission. The two-tone
interior is completed in red and black and features a radio and
clock. Included with the car are repair and restoration receipts.
This Bel Air shows beautifully and is the winner of numerous car
shows.
