Vehicle Description
1967 Fiat Dino 2000 Spyder.
2.0 L 6 cyl
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Ferrari Rosso Dino Orange over Black Interior with Silver Trim
Black Hard Top Only
Factory Knock-Off Wheels
Just completed, this wonderful and rare, very early production 1967
Dino 2000 Spyder (# 0076), was restored to its original condition.
What makes this Dino so special is it is equipped from new as a
"Hard Top" only optioned Spyder having no soft top at all ever on
it from the factory. The color of choice for the rare Fiat is the
exciting Ferrari Rosso Dino Orange with Black interior with silver
trim inside pre-dating the later ones with the faux wood trimmed
dash. It also has every piece of rubber trim and insignias replaced
with new. The Ferrari 2.0 liter motors were used on the first 1,000
+ cars produced thru 1971. It was the same motor used on the
Ferrari Dino 206 Alloy Coupes which makes it more valuable than the
later cars. Its 5 Speed Manual Transmission shifts smoothly.
Now showing a mere 88K km from new (that is only 55K original
miles) and it appears to be actual. It is an all original and rust
free car. It has been restored it to its factory specs by Classic
Car Restoration of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It was taken apart
completely and had a bare metal refinish to this stunning Rosso
Dino with its complimentary Black interior (that appears original)
with its matching Black Hard top sporting its original plexi window
and all its stainless trim pieces (also completely restored). Its
undercarriage was also stripped of any undercoatings to the bare
metal, being quite rust free and made to look as new. Every
original Fiat part was saved when possible and refurbished. It is a
very rare super early unusually optioned 1st generation production
Spyder. It is now ready for the show circuit.
