The C5 Corvette was a huge transformation for Chevrolet. The new structural design and integrity allowed the convertible to be as secure and well handling as the coupe. Moving the transmission to the back of the car produced A near 50/50 weight distribution and an LS1 engine that produces 345 HP means for a powerful straight line and cornering roadster. The C5 Corvette was the hailed as a wonderful performing vehicle that combined the newest technologies with old school Detroit power.
This C5 Corvette is in pristine condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The Torch Red exterior is flawless and every inch of it shines brightly. Likewise the Light Oak Leather interior shows minimal to no signs of wear and everything is exactly as it would have come from the factory. This color combination is also incredibly rare in the Corvette world. This was one of the only years this color was available on the Corvette, to help ring in the 45th anniversary of this iconic muscle car. This Corvette was originally a Florida vehicle and has never seen any winter driving, and true summer car.
As with the cosmetic condition, the mechanical condition of this C5 is immaculate as well. All service has been performed on time and within Chevrolet factory specs. The engine bay and suspension components are just as clean and presentable as the exterior. The chrome exhaust sounds amazing and looks the same.
