Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1923 Ford Model T for purchase. The
automobile that changed the world and the one that elementary
school children learn about, the Model T is the first affordable
vehicle that opened travel to the middle class. It was the result
of several innovations including the assembly line. By 1914, the
assembly process for the Model T only took 93 minutes. It was so
successful, Ford did not advertise between 1917 & 1923.
This 1923 Touring is turn key, ready to go and fires up with ease.
The T here has a functioning magneto and has a "magneto meter." It
comes with a rear mounted rim and tire. The rims and tires are 30x3
1/2. The wood spokes are in good shape as well. We took this T for
a test drive and it responded and handled as it should. All the
sheet metal looks great and the black paint looks good. There is a
metal tool box mounted on the driver's side running board. The horn
works on the steering column. There is a additional warning signal
made by the Stewart Warner company. The seats and top are in good
shape and present well. Don't miss your opportunity to own a piece
of history that put America on wheels.
