Movie production companies often have cars built for particular
purposes. This is one such car. From the exterior its appearance is
what it was; a '30 Ford. Due to specifics of the movie, "Live by
Night" this car needed to run out straight, strong and safe. Hence
beneath its frame rest a custom built frame, independent front
suspension, bagged front end and coil-over rear, 10-bolt Ford rear
gearing, 4-wheel disc brakes plus two additional brakes on rear. ,
rack-n-pinion steering and of course a create 350 engine and turbo
350 transmission and air bags all around - all with less than 200
miles since construction. It operated on a 12-volt system. Talk
about a "sleeper"! As one would imagine these cars took some
punishment during shooting and there are some paint issues it
suffered. (See photos). This car was labeled "Boston Police" during
the shooting of movie but has since been removed. Owner seeks the
price of $25K but woulds consider other offers after
inspection.*******************************************************************************************
