The fins on this car are large but nowhere near as flamboyant of what was to happen in the later '50's and flow nice and evenly with the large body panels and stainless trim. There is just the right amount of gold-plating to give this beauty that extra little touch of class and elegance that you would expect from "The Standard of the World". Under the hood you will see a very strong and quiet running 331 Cubic Inch V8 that just purrs along as you peer out of that curved dash windshield to your long shining hood with one of the most elegant "Flying Goddess" ornaments ever placed on a Caddy. The 4-speed Hydra-Matic transmission shifts nice and smooth and allows for comfortable driving even at highway speeds and make the experience of being the captain of this ship as easy as driving a modern car.
