greatest American muscle icons ever made: the Pontiac GTO. It has
all the PHS documents, original window sticker, tattered build
sheet, and a folder full of receipts. This 1965 example has
undergone a frame-off rotisserie restoration and keeping the car
true to the original and correct paint and trim codes. It is
finished in the factory correct Mayfair Maize over a Black Vinyl
Interior.
This car is powered by the original, numbers matching
389ci(6.5L)/360hp Tri-Power V8 mated to the factory 4-Speed Muncie
M20 manual transmission. Other noteworthy features include the
Safe-T-Track 3:55 Rear Axle, Rally Gauge Package with Tachometer,
Padded Dashboard, Redline Tires with Rally I’s, Bucket Seats, Rear
Seat Speaker, and factory AM radio. Everything was restored to
original Pontiac specifications.
This LeMans GTO was built in Fremont, California and was sold new
to the original owner in Torrance, California. You will be
hard-pressed to find another true factory tri-power 4-speed GTO in
this nice of condition. Everything has been gone through and the
car is ready for a new garage. This certainly is a collector car
that will surely appreciate in value in the upcoming years,
especially with all the PHS documentation and window sticker. It
