Vehicle Description
This is a rare 1960 Morris Minor pickup truck built for power and
speed. Very few Morris Minor pickup trucks were imported to the
U.S. from overseas because of the federal governments 25% tariff in
the 60's which became known as the chicken tax. This particular
Morris Minor pickup was built for street racing. The body is solid
original sheet metal. The exterior is a custom gray with purple on
the hood, top, and edges of the bed. The paint is professional with
no visible flaws. Because the owner is over 6 feet tall, he
expanded the cab by moving it back 5 inches and welding in bolts
and metal.Engine is a stroker 385 cid with 475 hp, 2 4 barrel 600
Edlebrock carbs, tunnel ram. The 350 Turbo transmission was built
for racing with shift kit etc. Rear end is a Chrysler 3:43 gear
posi unit. The fuel cells and battery are in the back. Other
features are a full chassis, full roll cage, wheelie bars, and
racing seats with 5 point harness seat belts. The steering wheel is
original. PLEASE NOTE: The seat covers are currently being made and
will be installed in the near future. They are the same material
and color combination as the door panels. This 1960 Morris Minor
custom pickup starts and runs with powerful performance. It can be
run on street fuel. It has an awesome sound that is radical, but
not too much! You will be King of the Street Rod show in this
unique ride!Owner is an experience restorer and builder of custom
