Rare 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe with only 21,880 original miles (serial #C55N-064956). The engine (138 h.p. six with powerglide, engine #0328138-f55y) and accessories are still all original and have not been overhauled or rebuilt. All the interior paint and upholstery is still the factory-installed original. Exterior color is Gypsy Red (lower) and Shoreline Beige (upper). In 1984 the car was repainted the original colors after all the trim, bright metal and engine was removed. Before reassembling, all the strainless trim was polished and most the chrome work was replated. While removed from the car, the engine and accessories were cleaned, repainted and detailed. All standard 1955 Chevy Bel Air equipment plus full wheel covers bumper overriders and radio. Fully documented, inncludes the original Owners Manual, original Service Policy (including VIN and engine number), original accessories brochure, all additional documents. Based on formula used by the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America the car is an unrestored original. This car has won 1st place and "Judges Choice" at many large shows and meets throughout its history. Has been on display at the McDorman Chevrolet Museum for the last three years.
