1955 T-Bird Roadster Resto-Mod
3 Years of painstaking love and 150,000 has gone into creating this breathtaking automobile.
Noted classic car restorer Skip Coad searched the entire country until in found a pristine, rust free, original T-bird. Once he found the car that met his standards, he took the car completely apart, down to the last nut and bolt, and created his Ultimate T-Bird. No expense was spared;
T-Bird is powered by a 4.6 Liter 32 Valve Cobra SVT motor with a factory Cobra Supercharger that was hand built and signed by the builders at Ford Motor Company in Romero Michigan.
It has a Ford AOD transmission that has been up fitted with high performance clutches and valve body along with Quick shift control system. Also, equipped with a Lokar automatic shifter. Frame mounted transmission oil cooler.
Rear end is a 9 Ford rear end with a True Trac positraction unit and a 3.50 gear ratio.
Suspension includes Hypercoil springs with Ride Tech Coil-Overs.
Brakes are 4 wheel disc with 10.5 inch rotors and dual reservoir power brake master cylinder.
Rack and Pinion steering with 2 dropped spindles.
The T-Bird's drive systems are computer controlled to drive like a new car of today.
Interior has been custom fitted down to the last detail. Premium Quiet Ride sound proofing has been installed throughout the interior. The finest materials went into the interior; seats, carpeting, and even suede on the top headliner. Car is equipped with seat belts for both passenger and driver.
Dash has been thoroughly updated with state of the art Dakota Digital gauges for all readouts including the clock that has day/date and outside temperature.
This car has the very best in audio. It is equipped with a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/IPOD system with premium speaker system surrounding the interior.
A Navigation system that includes Bluetooth to allow one to cruise down the highway and talk on your phone all at the same time.
